The Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) is a process that allows individuals to obtain a diploma, title, or certificate based on their professional experience. This experience must be at least one year in duration, whether continuous or discontinuous, full-time or part-time, and can include various types of activities, such as paid work, voluntary work, union or association activities, internships, or work-study programs in the field relevant to the targeted certification.
These experiences may cover all or part of the requirements for professional certifications, including titles, licenses, master's degrees, doctorates, or engineering titles. A VAE candidate may submit only one application per calendar year for the same diploma, title, or certificate, and a maximum of three applications for different certifications during the same year.
The Validation of Higher Studies (VHS) allows you to obtain a diploma, fully or partially, by recognizing the studies you have completed outside of Bitap (such as universities, schools, institutes, or training centers) in the UK or abroad. These studies must correspond to the program and duration of the Bitap Teaching Units targeted by the VHS request.
The Validation of Professional and Personal Acquired (VPPA) offers an opportunity to access training programs without holding the required diploma. To qualify, you must have interrupted your initial education for at least two years, and in cases of failure, for at least three years.
The Validation of Acquired Experience of Coaching (VAEC) provides a way to access training without the necessary diploma. Like VPPA, you must have interrupted your initial training for at least two years, or three years in the event of failure.
